The Successfully Simple Shortcut™
The ultimate 5-part framework to (re)design your business so that you can work less and live more.
When did your creative business take over your life,
and how the heck do you rein it back in?
Look at you, doing the hustle!
You’ve got a ton of services for your clients to choose from.
You’re on all the social media.
You say, “YES!” to opportunities before the person asking has even finished their sentence.
But all this “crushing it” has had some less-than-awesome side effects.
Like working until 2am.
Missing out on dinner with your family.
Wondering who ARE these small, sticky-fingered humans are that keeping calling you “Mommy?”
This wasn't what you signed up for when you launched your creative business, right?
You probably hoped you’d be cruising through a 4-hour workweek without a care in the world?
(That 4-hour thing isn’t really a thing, BTW, unless you’re planning on hiring an entire team to run your biz.)
It’s time to stop doing all the things and focus on what matters.
The Successfully Simple Shortcut™ will help you do exactly that.
The Shortcut a finely tuned five-part framework for service-based business owners based around getting the support you need, simplifying your business, creating a signature service, establishing systems, and selling to the right audience.
It's exactly what I've used to make my service-based business so successful, while working 20-hours (or less) per week, and taking lots of vacations. I want to teach you how to use the Shortcut in your own business!
Here's how The Successfully Simple Shortcut™ works:
Pillar One: Support
Without support from people who actually get it, your business growth will be slow or non-existent.
As well-meaning as your spouse or mom is, they don't understand exactly what you do, or what you NEED to do to move your business forward.
Support is all about finding the support you need to bounce ideas, be held accountable, and stay motivated, even when things get rough.
Pillar Two: Simplify
Chances are, you’re doing way too many things in your business and it’s holding you back.
In Simplify, you’ll redefine success and what it really means to YOU (not some internet guru), eliminate the things in your business that are eating up your time for little or no results, drill down into what is working so you can focus on those efforts, and set goals you’ll actually be able to achieve.
Pillar Three: Signature
What are you known for? Without a signature service, you might not be known for anything.
In Signature, you’ll create your signature service. Not only will this help you get your name out there and tell people what you do, it’ll make your marketing and workload a LOT easier and allow you to charge those premium prices you’ve been dreaming of. With your new signature service, you’ll be attracting clients who are saying “YES,” before they ever fill out your inquiry form.
Pillar Four: Systematize
How organized is your business? What’s your customer experience like? With sloppy (or no) systems, projects get off-track, drag on for far too long, and clients get grumpy.
In Systematize, you’ll organize your processes so that your projects run smoothly, you AND your clients always know what’s included and happening next, and when you wrap up your projects you’re left with raving fans who refer others your way.
Pillar Five: Sell
Are consistent clients a problem? Without consistent clients, you’re on a constant roller coaster of income--and not a fun roller coaster, a rickety one where you feel like you might fall out at any minute.
In Sell, you’ll create your personalized marketing plan for consistent clients so that you get booked out in advance, can project your monthly income, and can take a deep sigh of relief as you step off the income roller coaster and onto the lazy river of client inquiries.
This is the exact framework that I follow and revisit every year, to keep my web design business running smoothly and clients coming in.
But that doesn’t mean you’ll be doing exactly what I do, it means you can follow the framework to create your own version of success, that works for you and your business.
